Who we are

This website belongs to Kluzrose Pty Ltd, trading as Violet Mansour Realty (ABN 37 646 782 103). Violet Mansour-Jamil is the licensed real estate agent (NSW licence 168840, Class 1) and the person responsible for your information. The agency holds NSW corporation licence 10108383.

In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Violet Mansour Realty. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What information we collect

When you call, email or write to us, we collect what you tell us: usually your name, your phone number, your email address, the address of a property, and what you want to know or do.

If you use the enquiry form on the Contact page, we collect the details you type into it: your name, your mobile number, your email address if you choose to give one, the address of a property if you give one, the kind of enquiry, and your message. The form is optional. You can always phone or email Violet instead, and nothing on this website requires you to use it.

When we act for you as your agent to sell, lease or manage a property, we also collect what that work needs. That can include identification, ownership and contact details, price and rent expectations, tenancy details, and records of the inspections, offers and negotiations.

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, the type of browser and device you use, the pages you ask for, and the time. We use it to keep the website working and secure.

What we do not collect

The public pages of this website do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. There is no account to create. Cookies are used only in the private staff area, to keep a signed-in person signed in.

Why we use your information

• To answer your questions and call you back, including when you send us the enquiry form. We use what you put in the form only to get back to you about it.
• To appraise, market, sell, lease or manage property for you, and to deal with the people on the other side of that work.
• To keep the records the law requires an agent to keep.
• To keep this website secure and working.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to why you gave it to us.

Who we share it with

We share information only as far as your matter needs. Depending on the work, that can include buyers and sellers and their agents and conveyancers, landlords and tenants, tradespeople booked to do work on a property, solicitors, the NSW Government and other bodies the law requires us to deal with, and property portals when you ask us to advertise on them.

We use these services to run the website:

• Vercel Inc. hosts the website. It is based in the United States, and pages may be served from servers in several countries.
• Supabase stores the website’s property records and the photographs we upload. It also stores the enquiries sent through the form, which only our staff can read in a private inbox. Our database and storage are in Sydney, Australia. When a page shows one of these photographs, your browser connects to Supabase to load it.
• Violet may be told about a new enquiry by email, sent through an email delivery service (Resend, in the United States). That email includes the details you entered in the form. Violet replies by phone, or by email if you gave an address.
• Google loads the typefaces used on this website, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. Our email is also handled by Google Workspace.
• When you start typing a street address into an address box, the website may send what you have typed so far to Google Maps (Places) through our server, to suggest matching addresses and to confirm the one you choose. Your name and phone number are not sent. Google does not receive your address unless you type it into one of those boxes.

These providers handle information on our behalf and under their own privacy commitments. Some of them store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Reviews, property pages and photographs

This website publishes reviews that clients have written about working with Violet, with the name and address the writer gave. It also publishes properties she has sold, leased or listed, with photographs and details. If you wrote a review, or a property of yours appears here, and you want something changed or taken down, contact us and we will do it promptly.

How we keep information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. The staff area needs a sign-in, access to the database is restricted by row level security so that private records cannot be read by the public, and information is encrypted as it travels between your browser and this website. Only the people who need it for your matter can see it.

If we ever have a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will tell the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep records for as long as the law requires an agent to keep them, and for as long as we need them to deal with your matter. After that we delete or de-identify them. Enquiries sent through the form are kept in the staff inbox for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Seeing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Contact us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days. If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will tell you why in writing.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first and we will look into it and reply. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
