About Violet

Who is Violet Mansour?

Violet Mansour-Jamil is a licensed real estate agent in Earlwood, in the Inner West of Sydney. She sells, leases and manages residential property. She holds NSW property licence 168840, a Class 1 licence granted on 13 November 1985, and works as a sole agent rather than through a team.

How long has Violet Mansour been a real estate agent?

Since 1985. Her NSW licence was granted on 13 November 1985 and has been held continuously since, which is 40 years. She has worked across the Inner West throughout, including seven years as a director and licensee of a Richardson and Wrench office, and founded her own agency in 2021.

Is Violet Mansour a licensed real estate agent?

Yes. She holds NSW property licence 168840, a Class 1 licence covering sales, leasing and business broking. Her company, Kluzrose Pty Ltd, holds corporation licence 10108383. Both can be checked on the NSW Government licence register, where she is registered under the name Violet Jamil.

Does Violet Mansour speak Arabic?

Yes. She works in English and Arabic, and was educated in Beirut. Appraisals, inspections, negotiations and paperwork can all be handled in either language, which matters in Earlwood and the surrounding suburbs where many families prefer to do business in Arabic.

Is Violet Mansour part of a larger agency?

No. She is a sole agent and runs every campaign herself. The person who appraises a property is the person who lists it, runs the inspections and negotiates the sale. There is no team to be handed on to and no branch manager to escalate to.

Selling

How do I find out what my home is worth in Earlwood?

Ask for an appraisal. Violet will walk through the property, look at what comparable homes nearby have actually sold for, and give you a considered estimate in writing. There is no cost and no obligation. Call 0411 578 003 or email violet@violetmansourrealty.com to arrange a time.

Should I sell by auction or by private treaty?

It depends on the property and the market at the time. Auction suits homes where competition is likely and a deadline helps. Private treaty suits properties with a narrower buyer pool, where time to negotiate is worth more than urgency. Violet will tell you which she thinks fits, and why.

What is underquoting, and how do I know a price guide is genuine?

Underquoting is advertising a property below the estimated selling price in the agency agreement. In NSW it is unlawful, and a quoted range cannot be more than ten percent wide. Ask any agent to show you the estimate in their agreement, then check the advertised guide against it.

What does it cost to sell a house with Violet Mansour?

Fees depend on the property and the campaign, so she quotes them directly rather than publishing a rate that would not apply to your home. She will set out the commission and the marketing costs in writing before you agree to anything. Ask when you book an appraisal.

How many properties has Violet Mansour sold?

The sold record published on this website covers 60 properties across 12 suburbs, with photographs and, where the owner wrote one, their review. It is not her whole career: it is what is documented from recent years. She has been selling in the Inner West since 1985.

Renting and property management

Does Violet Mansour manage rental properties?

Yes. She leases and manages residential property alongside sales, which is deliberate: a landlord who trusts her with a rent roll is usually the same person who calls her when it comes time to sell. Ask her what your property would rent for and what managing it involves.

What would my investment property rent for?

Ask for a rental appraisal. She will look at the property, compare it against what similar homes nearby are actually leasing for, and give you a realistic weekly figure along with what managing it would involve. Call 0411 578 003 to arrange it.

Practical

What suburbs does Violet Mansour work in?

Earlwood is her home ground. The published record also covers Kingsgrove, Bardwell Park, Canterbury, Clemton Park, Bexley, Strathfield, Revesby, Lakemba, Burwood and Narwee. If your street is in the Inner West or the neighbouring suburbs, it is very likely she has sold in it.

How do I contact Violet Mansour?

Call 0411 578 003. That is her direct number and she answers it herself, seven days a week. You can also email violet@violetmansourrealty.com. There is no switchboard, no enquiry queue, and no assistant taking a message on her behalf and passing it along later.
